week in review

monday we celebrated mr. monaco's birthday- yay!!
i woke up early and surprised him with hot cinnamon rolls, yogurt, and fruit
later that day we went to whiskey and fork in south park {where they serve whiskey on tap- you can see it in the photo below} and offer lots of yummy food!
baby boy is getting spoiled already
more love from bloggers, family, and friends
thank you!!
lots of walking around our neighborhood/city - these pretty flowers caught my eye!
i am dreaming about taking bubble baths again and have read mixed reviews
i go back to the doctor on august 20 but what have you been told? is it safe?
also, i adore our restored wood shelf in our tub- i bought it on etsy and use it all the time!
over three years later and i still fall in love every.single.time i look at my engagement ring
thank you again, mr. monaco
i adore everything about it.
i shared updated baby bump photos - fifteen weeks!!
along with my thoughts on being a boy mom
enjoying a latte at little spoon eatery in myer's park
- walks, pandora, blogs, baby dreaming, and cute coffee shops
are my favorite parts about this summer-
 i love our home. it's made being inside a lot this summer {due to extreme heat}
 much more enjoyable!
here is a shot from our master bedroom- a bookcase with some of my very favorite things/people
i sent a lot of snail mail out to family and friends
lastly, i started reading the book, luckiest girl alive, by jessica knoll and really love it so far!
did you read it? thoughts?
have a great weekend!

    1. thank you! the cinnamon rolls are from trader joe's/i baked them and yes, love my ring!! the painting of the cat is a watercolor that my cousin, kelly, painted for us last christmas - sadly, we lost our beloved cat, pierre, on oct 5 last year when we discovered him on the train track in front of our house... it was devastating. he was nine/an indoor cat and we loved him so much. we have no idea how he got out and are still heartbroken. so she surprised us with this beautiful panting- it's so special to us. xo

  14. That wood shelf?!? Swoon. I so so want one, now! Those flowers are gorgeous. There's just something about flowers that makes me smile instantly! I love them all so so much. Your little book case in the bedroom is stunning. I just read your comment to someone else above about the sweet kitty in the painting. He was precious, i'm sorry for your loss. And I, too, fall in love all over when I look at my engagement ring.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
